Lizzie joined The New School in September 2013, following education experience in a range of settings and counties. Before training as a teacher at the University of Exeter, she completed a languages degree at Durham University and subsequently worked for the wine company, Berry Bros. & Rudd, in London, liaising between French producers and English customers. Lizzie previously held the role of Deputy Headmistress and now oversees the Year 1/2 team as Head of Key Stage 1, as well as having whole-school responsibility for learning, teaching and curriculum. She teaches Year 2 and is also subject leader for English and French. Lizzie leads our school productions and the weekly singing assembly. In her spare time, she enjoys singing with Exeter Chamber Choir, wild swimming and walking.
