Bichon Frisé

Ruffles is four years old and belongs to the Head, Mr Ayling. She is a trained therapy dog who comes to school on most days. She is incredibly friendly, gentle and (usually!) well behaved. She enjoys spending time in lessons, playing with the children at playtimes, and greeting children and parents on the school gate as they arrive and leave. Most of the time, she likes to sleep and rest in the school office! If children are sad or upset, they can visit Ruffles at any time for a cuddle – she is always happy to listen to their worries and loves to hear children reading stories. In her spare time, Ruffles enjoys eating raw carrots, running around at the beach and having her tummy tickled.
